This is a view when you stand at the front of the church and look back. Above is the organ for the church. I love the arches and the candles at the top of the church....simply beautiful.
This is the rig side of the church, and for ventilation they just tilt in the window coverings. I would love to hear the organ playing, a light breeze coming off the ocean and hearing a sermon here.
Here is the left side. I just love the stone and woodwork.
Some carvings on the inside of the building. I just loved this beautiful church,
it is truly a work of art.
Thanks for the visit to Barbados part of the country,
Jana
It is truly beautiful! I love the woodwork.
ReplyDeleteI loved the wood with the light walls...it is pretty
DeleteHi Jana, loved these pics too of the Church - beautiful! Just to let you know, something really weird happened just a few minutes ago - read and enjoyed your post on the sugar mill in Barbados, pressed comments because I really wanted to say something and when I did, it said the page on this blog is not available. So, then I clicked out of everything did something else for a few mins and went back to your blog via your full blog address and your blog will only give me this post not the sugar mill one. I don't know whether to blame Blogger or Google Chrome. So, I will try again later on and see what happens! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry Rose it was me, I was working on the sugar mill post and hit the wrong button, wow it must have been just when I had it on a minute or so. Sorry I was just working ahead......I will post it in a day or so. OOPs I got caught.
DeleteWow, Jana that's really freaky.......... I'm just pleased to know that I hadn't been projected into some future realm with unknown (to me) talents! :))))))
DeleteIt really is gorgeous. I too would love to sit by one of those windows during one of the services.
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful... and great photography? Are you taking these with your Mothers' Day camera? I have one like it but usually end up just using my phone. I'll have to take some photos and compare the two.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration.
Oops.... that looks rude. I meant to type "... and great photography!"
ReplyDeleteSorry!
