I love pinterest.  I might  am be addicted to it.
 How simple is this?
If only I could think of this on my own....

Simple and yet I love it.

Fall Paper Crafts..

Fall is....candy, trick-or-treat, pilgrims and turkey.
I made these pumpkins last year for fall.
Different size circles or ovals glued together and then I used paper bag and glue for the stem.

I made the pumpkin pie as well.  All out of paper, some bows and just stamped the sentiment on the end of the crusts.

Fall decorations...

I love to decorate for holidays....I always have.
This is Frankie...I painted him and all his friends.
Isn't he a cutie?
My "mummy".  I also painted him once upon a time.
This is a scarecrow I have had for years, no I didn't make him.....
it requires sewing and I don't sew........if a glue stick won't fix it....forget it.
My squirrels robbing the basket full of food.
I have a lot of mums...this isn't even all of them.
I don't normally like witches, but I like this one,
maybe it's the green eyeshadow I gave her.
My halloween bowl, this took me forever to paint...I was so glad when I finished this.
I painted this pumpkin that has a spider on his head....and 8 tiny tennis shoes..
but my favorite fall decorations just might be.....
the pumpkins my kids painted.  This one was by Kayla.
Such talent, I know.
This one is by Kyler, I taught him everything he knows about painting.
A face only a Mom could love.

These get more precious with every year.

Just Shootin'

A few weeks ago our family got together, and when we get together the guys love to.....
Trap Shoot!!
It's a great way to spend time together.
This is my son Kyler...he loves to trap shoot.
This is his wife Sarah and she is just hanging out watching everyone.
My daughter is getting wind blown here (Oklahoma and wind, they go together),
but she is out here to watch ....
her fiance Macy.  Were teaching him to be a Redneck.
Randy is in the middle and he is the "thrower" today.
If you ask any of them who won, well you would probably get three different answers,
but I would tell you it was great having my kids around and
just spending time together.

Thanks for spending time with my family in our part of the country,
Jana

Mom

This is my Mom's high school graduation picture.  I like the picture,
but it 's not how I remember my Mom.
She married my Dad when she was only 16 years old.   They divorced when I was 10 years old and we then moved from a small town in Kansas to California.

Years later, after I moved to Oklahoma, and had children of my own we would go visit her.  This is how I like to remember her, with my kids.  Mom loved to play with them, making mud pies, roasting marshmallows over candles,  letting them have bubble baths by candlelight and even letting them put "paint" all over her patio doors (she would say "it can always be washed off").  She was a fun Grandma and a great Mom.  They were only 3 & 5 years old when she passed away.  I know she would be so proud of them now (that's what Grandma's do, they are ALWAYS proud of their Grandkids)   She has been gone now for 20 years and yet it feels like yesterday.  It is SO hard to loose your Mom and my kids Grandma, she can never be replaced and she is always missed.
Mothers day has never been the same for me without her.

Love & Miss you Mom,
Jana

Easter Decorations

This is some of my ceramics I have painted in years past....This is my "Easter Village", complete with a cabbage home and Easter Tree.  I don't have all my village pictured here, there is also an Easter Egg house and a carrot house.  I love decorating for holidays.
These are my ducks.  I would have shown you more ceramics I've painted, but I didn't even get around to putting out any of my Easter this year, these are pictures I took last year.....talk about lazy.

These are part of my ceramic Easter eggs.  One is on his head, a baker, a nurse, a construction worker reading his newspaper, a cowboy and a baby crying.  I  have more of these, but only got a picture of the six.  Oh, how I use to love to paint my ceramics.

These are just some silk flowers I love to display with my "fountain",
it makes me feel like springtime is just around the corner,  seeing all of the colors.

But of all of my "Easter"  decorations this one just might be my favorite.  I have it up all year so it isn't really my "Easter" decoration, but it speaks volumes without saying a word.

Enough said.....Thank you Jesus.

Happiest Easter Ever

Easter Wreaths

I got the idea for these wreaths from Pinterest, (My new best friend)  I am putting the instructions on my blog under Crafts, but here are a couple of pictures of my Easter Wreaths.  My daughter helped me make them, this one has purple grass around the eggs
This one was done with pink grass

We made 4 of them and they did go faster with the two of us working together,
but I thought they were pretty cute.
