Scissor-tailed Flycatchers
Here are the babies when I first found them and then......
just 5 days later.
There are 5 of these little ones crammed into one nest, I have no idea where there Mom fits.
Thanks for visiting my part of the country,
Jana
I bet mum is hoping they move out soon! They are gorgeous, so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI bet she is wanting some room in her own house, they grew so much so fast, I was surprised.
Deletethey are SO adorable! i think these are some of the prettiest birds our area has to offer!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were so cute when they got their feathers
DeleteThey are just adorable! It is amazing to me how the nest never seems to be big enough just before they fly on their own. Love these shots!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
I am wondering how much longer they will be around, not too much longer I'm guessing
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, I'm thinking they are about ready to fly!
ReplyDeleteI know they have grown so much.
DeleteThey do look mighty grown up!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they grew this fast until I photographed them. I was shocked
DeleteOh--they are the cutest little things. Thanks for sharing these. I have some bluebirds hatching--and five more blue eggs in another box--and that will be the
ReplyDeletefamily in the one box. I watch over them like the 'momma'--worry about them when the weather is rough.
I had bluebirds before in a box, then one day their mama (before feathers were on) pushed them all out on the ground, I put them back in without touching them 3x, and she would keep pushing them out until they were dead. It was sad and I'm not sure why...I do hope yours are doing good, it sounds better than mine. Thanks for visiting Nava
