We went to the basketball game on Thursday when
Oklahoma City Thunder played San Antonio Spurs.
It was LOUD.....It was CROWDED..... It was FUN.
Can you tell we were at the right place at the right time.
Charles Barkley was also there.
Yes we were close. I took both of these guys pictures from my seat.
given to him by our Governor. They were valued at $1500. Apparently he was asked if he would prefer to live in Oklahoma City or San Antonio.....he chose OKC and that hasn't gone over well with
San Antonio's mayor.
San Antonio's mayor.
AND THUNDER WON!!!!
Thanks for visiting my part of THUNDER Country,
Jana
Hi Jana, that first photo is stunning and I think that your description was spot-on! As a coincidence, I heard a program on public radio today talking about the owner of the Thunder and how his investment in the city's team has been an enormous benefit in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog today and I hope that you will stop in from time-to-time.

Hi Genie, I love getting to know new people thru blogging. Yes the Thunder has brought a lot of benefits to our state and I think Oklahoma people can be very passionate about our sports. Thanks so much for the visit and I look forward to stopping by your blog.
Deletewow, you were in great seats to see the celeb announcers! congrats to the thunder! i had seen some headlines on MSN about them but hadn't read the articles. :)
ReplyDeleteWe were so lucky to be where we were, we had fun.
DeleteAWSOME!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought you would appreciate this one Dennis!!
DeleteAlthough I don't follow sports at all, this does look like fun.
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't do sports, somehow everyone does get into the game...it really is fun.
DeleteI think you got Tyler Cofer in the first photo on the lower right. He helps with the activiites during the game.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Tyler is in the 2nd photo. I guess if you bad mouth a City for the whole season you get great boots and steak!

DeleteYa I heard he said OK was a "wasteland" and then I heard he said he would pick here to live? Not sure why the change if there really was one??? Also Randy thinks it looks like Tyler also.
