Maybe it's just me, but I think this baby is so shiny and a bit shy, hiding by Mama.
I love the baby calves, somehow when they grow up they are just not as cute..
sorry Momma, the truth hurts.

Thanks for visiting my part of the country.
Jana
love, love, love baby calves of any breed! such a sweet, bright and shiny little one!
ReplyDeleteThanks and yes I do love them too, they start out so cute.
DeleteIt's the serenity you captured in this photo that awed me Jana. Simply beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose, this is a perfect example of our life in the country.
DeleteNothing like baby animals...so cute, then they grow up! LOL
ReplyDeleteI agree..poor mama
DeleteThe mother may not be as cute, but she looks like she is very content, she has such a serene look on her face. Who can blame her with a baby that gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMomma's are not as cute, but they sure can be protective of their little ones.
DeleteYep--'babyies' are cute--and it is a good thing! :) I love your photos--I can take a deep breath here.
ReplyDeleteHI Nava, so glad you "stopped" by for a visit, I love hearing from you, and I do agree....babies are cute.
DeleteOh, I don't know, Momma has a pretty face too in my opinion! (o:
ReplyDeleteThank you for the prayers for rain too. We have brown grass, but I cannot imagine all those fields of corn drying up. So sad.
Hi Anita, we are so dry here, this picture was taken earlier this year, we are not so green now.
DeleteThat baby is definitely cute. It's true with human kids too, they are much less cute as they get older, and by the time they're teenagers...
ReplyDeleteHey Al, Glad you dropped by and kids of all kinds are so cute...someday I hope to have grand babies ...they will be adorable, I already know. LOL
