A Bridge over Troubled Water...

I was on my way to town and this beauty ran in front of me,
I hit my brakes and pulled over.  The car behind me had no idea why I was pulling over,
I was just hoping I could find him after he ran back in the brush.

Not the best photo here, but when I looked over the bridge I saw him walking.
I was thrilled and probably a little shaky.
He was as scared as me, trying to find Momma I'm sure.

Then he saw me looking down at him....it was love at first sight.
Well for me it was.

He came out of the water and I lost him again for a minute.....
I waited and when I looked up....

I got my last glimpse of him.
Such a cutie.....I just love when this happens, it truly makes my day.

Thanks God for letting me see the beauty you have made.

Thanks also for visiting my Dear part of the country,
Jana

  2. What a sweet little thing! My daughter and I saw a momma doe and her twin fawns coming out of the woods on a country road. I didn't have my camera! Nice captures of this little one!

    1. I hate when that happens, I saw triplets once and no camera, so I do understand.

    1. I agree about the spots, when he first ran in front of me that is what I noticed first....those spots might have saved him.

  6. I love catching glimpses of the babies; you were lucky to get such a good view. I really like that last shot with his big ears above the grass.

    1. Funny you said he looked like a model in the first one....I thought it almost looked like a little toy figurine and that I had to post more than one photo to prove it wasn't a set up. LOL Thanks Al
