My How You've Grown...

Scissor-tailed Flycatchers
Here are the babies when I first found them and then......

 just 5 days later.
There are 5 of these little ones crammed into one nest, I have no idea where there Mom fits.

Thanks for visiting my part of the country,

Jana

  3. They are just adorable! It is amazing to me how the nest never seems to be big enough just before they fly on their own. Love these shots!

  7. Oh--they are the cutest little things. Thanks for sharing these. I have some bluebirds hatching--and five more blue eggs in another box--and that will be the
family in the one box. I watch over them like the 'momma'--worry about them when the weather is rough.

  8. I had bluebirds before in a box, then one day their mama (before feathers were on) pushed them all out on the ground, I put them back in without touching them 3x, and she would keep pushing them out until they were dead. It was sad and I'm not sure why...I do hope yours are doing good, it sounds better than mine. Thanks for visiting Nava
