And the Thunder Rolls....

We went to the basketball game on Thursday when
Oklahoma City Thunder played San Antonio Spurs.

It was LOUD.....It was CROWDED..... It was FUN.
Thunder along with the cheerleaders were there to entertain us.
Shaq/ Shaquille O'Neal was there for the halftime broadcasting.
Can you tell we were at the right place at the right time.
Charles Barkley was also there.
Yes we were close.  I took both of these guys pictures from my seat.
Here he is showing off his ostrich/alligator cowboy boots, complete with his initials on them,
given to him by our Governor.  They were valued at $1500.  Apparently he was asked if he would prefer to live in Oklahoma City or San Antonio.....he chose OKC and that hasn't gone over well with
 San Antonio's mayor.
At half time there was a bike show.
Sorry they are kind of blurry, but he wouldn't  hold still and I was too far away.
Oh, and did I mention there was a basketball game as well.
AND THUNDER WON!!!!
Final Score 82 to 102.

Thanks for visiting my part of THUNDER Country,
Jana

  1. Hi Jana, that first photo is stunning and I think that your description was spot-on! As a coincidence, I heard a program on public radio today talking about the owner of the Thunder and how his investment in the city's team has been an enormous benefit in so many ways.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope that you will stop in from time-to-time.
